Hank Hehmsoth

Biography

Hank Hehmsoth is an American composer, jazz pianist, visual artist, and educator based in Texas. He composed the original music for the independent film Scary Movie (1991) and has worked across film, jazz performance, contemporary composition, and interdisciplinary visual art projects. Hehmsoth is Professor of Practice in Jazz Studies at Texas State University and founder of Time Space Fabrics, a multidisciplinary record label and visual art series integrating music and abstract painting.
