Biography

Shen Yue (born February 27, 1997, in Shaoyang, Hunan Province, China) is a multifaceted Chinese actress, singer, and model best known for her roles in popular youth and romantic dramas. She graduated from Hunan Normal University in 2018 with a degree in Journalism and Communications, and her rise to fame began shortly after when a photographer's snapshot of her online led to a casting opportunity on the reality show Summer Sweetie. Shen made her acting debut in Autumn Harvest Uprising, but her breakout role came in 2018 with Meteor Garden, a reboot of the iconic Taiwanese series, where she portrayed Dong Shancai. The role earned her the Baidu Entertainment Award for Character of the Year and cemented her place among China’s emerging television stars. Since then, Shen Yue has starred in over 40 productions, including hit series like A Love So Beautiful (2017), Count Your Lucky Stars (2020), Be Yourself (2021), Mr. Bad (2022), and The Comic Bang (2025). She also appeared in the fantasy film The Yin Yang Master (2021), marking her big-screen debut. Her performances often highlight youthful charm, emotional sincerity, and comedic timing, making her a favorite with younger audiences and drama lovers alike.
