Robin Douet was born on 3 July 1931 in Paddington, London, England, UK. He was a production manager and producer, known for The Man Who Would Be King (1975), Local Hero (1983) and The Killing Fields (1984). He was married to Margaret Sobey. He died on 12 January 2018.
