Ein langer Abschied

Ten-year-old Rebecca is diagnosed with leukemia. Her illness also puts a strain on her parents' marriage. Ralph has already fallen out with Ellen so hopelessly that he takes refuge in an affair. When Rebecca suffers a serious setback, the desperate mother comes up with a plan: she wants a baby whose umbilical cord will provide stem cells to save her daughter...
